F1 was boring during the dominant Ferrari years (2000-2004). I would argue that last year's F1 season was quite entertaining, with Kimi and Fernando (McLaren/Renault) fighting it out for most of the season.

This year's season has also been very exciting, especially with Michael's resurgence in the 2nd half. It can't get any closer than this, with both contenders having the same number of points and Renault having only a slight lead over Ferrari in the constructor's championship.
