What is Ferrari doing?

I'm reading car magazines and I keep seeing Ferrari making these one-off cars. They have the FXX, that P4 by Pininfarina. I know the P4 was a more unique example, but the car still flies the Ferrari emblem. I'll bet Ferrari churns out more of these one-offs.

Their road cars are still good though less attractive than the previous line-up in my opinion. I don't like them building these super limited edition cars. The company is becoming a market maker for speculators. These cars will just get flipped by speculative buyers. Didn't Ferrari used to be against speculation in their cars? Nigel Mansell got a free F40 and flipped it for a huge profit. After that, Ferrari stopped giving their F1 drivers cars.

I may have an extreme opinion, but I think Ferrari risks looking like some glorified custom car shop if they keep going down this road. I don't mind them making limited edition cars for homologation purposes because that is part of their racing heritage, but what I see them doing now is different.
