As I have said many times, Audi is a very design-led manufacturer. They take their inspiration from the traditions of Modern German design ..much like other German companies like Braun, Leica, Siemens. Because I am a big fan of German design, I have come to respect Audi more and more -- I love the restrained cool style of Audi, it is an aesthetic Audi shares with Porsche -- a subtle aesthetic that quietly and self-confidently communicates technology, Modernity, and purity -- BMW also take much inspiration from the traditions of German Modernism, but they have brought a more expressive "trans high-tech" edge to car design ...Braun seem to be doing similar things for domestic electronics.
