Ugh....you knew I didn't want this model to ever come to be, but there it is.
We're getting a GL320 CDI in Jan 2007 for the U.S. market so I guess sometime next year for the 2008 model year we'll get a GL63 and likely the GL550 also. Only thing is I think MB should offer the V8 diesel here because at 9.2 secs 0-60 the GL320 is slow, something a modern diesel shouldn't be if they want to shake off the "diesels are slow" perception.
