A nice review of the GL320 CDI. Hands down, this engine would be my choice for the GL-Klasse I would drive.

So, California has "strict emissions", yet they allow stuff like Cadillac Escalade's and Hummer H2's? Even though those are gasoline powered, they're only LEV on paper: the more fuel you burn, the more emissions you release. Regardless of catalytic converters or not. Especially with such gas-guzzling engines like those two...
