Re: RS 4 - 3000 mile review

Great car you have there S4Aero. The RS4 definitely is the new benchmark in the premium compact sport sedan segment.

I liked your "real world" review of the car. Mileage is surprisingly good!!

I don't know if you've read another thread I made about 0-60 vs rolling 5-60mph times from Car & Driver (http://www.germancarzone.com/showthread.php?t=5432). In this thread, I've listed the 0-60 and 5-60mph times for various cars of interest. The Audi RS4 and S4 seems to lose the most time when you take away the high rpm launch compared to other cars like the M3/C55. I'm sure the RS4 will catch up and blow these other cars away at much higher speeds, but as you've said, it is rare to go to very high speeds on everyday streeets.

I wonder what your perspective on this is. Is the RS4 losing a lot of ground because of its weight when you start from a rolling 5mph and at low rpm?
