They need to take a more pro-active stance against some of the BS that has been going on and at least provide some even footing in the situation, not necessarily in terms of this new situation with Lebanon, but more to do with the decades long struggle of the Palestinian people.
Bush is so blatantly pro-Israeli it would be almost impossible for him to mediate even mildly successful peace talks. But I don’t think he ever intended to do that. |
