The magazine didn't elaborate further on specifics of the car, but said it is inspired by the 1950s Mercedes 300 four-door convertible. If true, the rumor would represent the latest in a widespread model diversification effort at Mercedes. Stuttgart, Germany - Mercedes is planning to make a big, four-door convertible based on its existing S-Class to appeal to wealthy buyers.
