  | 5th Gear take 7er to drag strip!  The lights are about to turn green and the tension is rising to bubbling point. My adrenaline is really starting to pump now as, through the double-glazing of the BMW 760i, I can distantly hear the shouting of hundreds of petrolheads. Alongside me is a Noble M12 GTR and in front of me is the quarter mile of Santa Pod's famous drag strip - now all I've got to do is wait for the lights to turn green and get to the finish line first.
