Very UNBIASED review. That's rare.

Correction though: AMG's are in a sense meant for the track since they "developed on the track". AMG's cars in the 1970s and 1980s were all Mercedes-Benz cars that had been totally stripped and prepared for track duty.

Modern-day AMG's can still be taken on the track to have fun. Against BMW M's or other cars, they might appear "less capable", but AMG's in their own right, are still capable track cars. Just not as hardcore as the competition. It also depends on the driver.

IMO, the three best AMG track cars are:

1) SLK55 AMG
2) CLK55 / CLK63 AMG
3) SL55 AMG
