Re: Next Generation G-Class

It comes as no surprise to me that it's the American members who seem to be so sentimental about the G class - but I feel it has not been appreciated in its true context in the US. In the US, the G class is a status symbol for people who want to upstage their neigbour's ML - the G class has been sold in Europe for 26 years for god sake, it is ancient, and if MB don't replace it now they will be going against their own core values - it is time for the G to be replaced - I'm sorry if the Americans have only just discovered it, but it was around when the original golf was on sale - that is now considerred a classic car.
