Your favorite animal

I use to be a big time animal lover as a kid, I think I even wanted to be a trainer for Orca's at Sea World. To the point, my favorite animal is the aforementioned: The Orca, Killer Whale, Sea Wolf, etc. I have a huge appreciation and respect for their level of intellengence(the highest of any animal/mammal excluding humans), and their natural habitat which is unfortunately, thanks to us, heavily polluted. They're size is imposing but they are probably some of the most docile creatuers known to man in their natural enviorment. At the same time they are the top preadators of the sea, known to consume the often mistaken top predator of the sea, the great white shark. Killer Whales have even been known to eat Polar Bears, and that is not some freak occurence, while it doesn't happen as often as Orca's consuming seals and fish, polar bears are very much known to be apart of their diet, and when no food is around(this was discovered over 30 years ago) it has been discovered that they will resort to cannibalism.

Interesting tid bit on Killer Whale Behavior/ Intellegence:

More unusally, Orca have also be known to co-operate with humans in the hunting of other whales. One famous incidence of this was near the port of Eden in South-Eastern Australia in the 1920s. A pod of Orca, led by a dominant male called Old Tom, would assist whalers in hunting baleen whales - the Orca would find the target whales, shepherd them into Twofold Bay and then alert the whalers to their presence and often help to kill the whales. In return the whalers allowed the orcas to eat the tongue and lips of the whale before hauling it ashore.
