I think that it is safe to say that the new BMWs have design that are the hardest to swallow if you are not into their design at first. I was kind of confused when the 7er came out, a bit less about the Z4 but adored the E60 (5er). So 6er and 3er were ok with me, I find them absolutely fascinating to look at.

The thing that doesn't help for a lot of people is that they see the pictures first and make their final judgement on the car based on that. I will be the first person to say that BMW's just do not look good in 50% of the pics. I just do not know why

I admit that i didn't like the 6 when i first saw it. Now it has grown on me but still the rear it's a little hard to digest.

The new Bimmers look fresh and modern but the new models that I love the 3er and the Z4. The 5,6 and 7er is simply too much Bangle for me. I have the way that the front and rear light extend into the sides of the cars

The Z4 is the epithome of Bangle... But I see what you mean with the lights although I like it.

The Z4 is so gorgeous, I love it's dynamic and powerful look. What a sweet roadster and it does look much better IRL than it does in pictures.

I think that was a typo and he meant the Z4. The front lights it's a 50/50 thing for me. Sometimes I like it sometimes I dont. However, the rear of the Z4 is just so muscular. It's just a great contrast compared to its competitors (boxter, slk and tt). I guess it just depends on what you like.

well i gotta say i never liked the 6 myself. The facelifted 7 looks great(probably my favorite car from lineup the 750il espeically after the M5 not 5 series) and I like the 5 series. The pre 7 never liked. Don't like the Z4 at all i whould much rather have SLK and the Z8 who iven knows that car exists if your not really into cars. The 3 series I like as well. Don't like the 1 don't like the X3 but X5 is ok.
