Good you're content to live a lifestyle that can be sustained on what you earn. As much as this is a forum for car fans, and German (typically expensive) car fans no less, there are more important things in life than driving a nice car.
Heck, like we saw in that other thread, the more possessions you get, the more problems will come, not least from other people.
When it's time to die, I am certain that nobody will wish that they drove their car once more, or that they had a more expensive one. They will want their nearest and dearest to be around, because people are what matter in life. So IMO you might as well live life like that every day instead of waiting until that day.
Oh yeah, and sort of back on topic.. I think the disparity between rich and poor is certainly getting greater. I also agree that people are responsible for their actions, but they are not responsible for the outcomes or the consequences, nor are they responsible for their circumstances.
