I think there will be a production version of this car. Recently the new head of AMG all but confirmed that AMG would be producing a serious of track ready cars called "Track Series" or something like that. I think we can look for an exotic variation of the SLK this summer or even in May at the opening of the new MB museum at which time the new CL should also be revealed too. Mercedes is really starting to get with the program, bringing back the build quality while adding some real excitement to the brand IMO. All that remains to see if these newer products are more reliable than past.
