Re: The affordable German car

Volkswagen and Opel used to be "the affordable German cars", but VW has gotten quite pricey as of late. Opel is still relatively good value, but they've also become more expensive. In fact, car ownership in Germany is an expensive hobby. The government will do all it can (literally) to encourage people to take the boring trains and public transport...yawn...
