lol what I meant is that this car is needless "at this time only". because AMG has been lazy lately in doing their job effeciently. the latest products are hardly distiguishable from its entry level models. I mean their job is "mainly" limitted to adding new body kit and thorugh the engine they have. I mean look at M division in BMW. They really worked hard to finalize their latest products like the M5, M6 and Z4M. M5 as an example shares almost 15% only with regular 5 series models. where the E55 looks like upgraded E500 (sportpack version).

No offense but AMG should work harder. Lately, it is very rare that an AMG model have beaten any of its rivals (German ofcourse).

I'm not sure I understand this post. AMG does just as much to their cars as BMW does to their to transform them from regular to AMG/M models. New engine, brakes, retuned suspension and what not. BMW offers the same "M" kit on their "regular" cars too. You can get a 535d to look just like an M5 if you like, just like a Mercedes E500/E55. There is no way possible that a M5 only shares 15 percent of its parts with a regular 5-Series. That claim I'd need to see in writing. The M5 might be more focused on the track, but that doesnt' mean it nearly a whole new car.
