I wouldn't count on it - Porsche make superior engines to Mercedes - and that's a fact. However, I must say, the SLR is starting to grow on me - I am beginning to appreciate it more as time goes on - there are things about it that are very sexy and beautiful but I still don't really like the rear. Overall though, it is a fantastic car
