Quite possibly in late winter. I did some research and figured since I'm going to visit Germany anyways, and would have to get a rental cars anyways, there'd be a reasonable value proposition - provided I could also find a dealer who could stomach a guy trying to drive a hard bargin...

Lots of qualifiers there, I know. I'm thinking that ED allocations for the 335i will probably be quite thin early on, so I might even consider waiting out an entire season to save up some acorns and buy the 335i convertible.

I talked to the sales guy that i can give you the number of, today. He said he could get a good deal with my recommendation. He also mentioned that a European delivery has to be ordered two months in advanced of the trip, so if your planning a trip in february of 07, you would have to order by december of 06. He also said that a european delivery would be cheaper than getting it at the dealer so that cuts the price down even more. When you get closer to purchasing or deciding to purchase, PM me and we'll go over some of the options you want and ill get back to you on what we can do.

Re: BMW 3-Series Coupe pricing for U.S. revealed

I think when you buy the car through the EUD you get *Invoice and can easily get it below even then, albeit not by much. Great way to make the purchase since it's then shipped from Europe as a "used" car, which is where most of the savings come from.

Re: BMW 3-Series Coupe pricing for U.S. revealed

Sure thing. There's gonna be lots of number crunching going on. It may be that I'd spring for an ED in the fall instead of the winter, pegging my purchase window a full year from now, or so.

It may be that I'll completely cave and:
1 - Decide to get a fully-loaded Honda Civic Coupe.
or
2 - Get a CPO Z4. Probably an '05.

I really appreciate it Matt. Thanks for the word.

Re: BMW 3-Series Coupe pricing for U.S. revealed

CPO Z4 might be where I lean. I figure since it's been a relatively unpopular model for BMW I'll find some negotiation leverage.
