BMW M3 Coupe ***LICENSE PLATE***

Ok on germancarfans.com it says

"At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show BMW will show a concept car of the new M3 Coupe. However, the production version – for release this summer - will look in various details different from the concept, as can be seen on these prototype shots.
While the concept car has the license plate in the lower bumper area, it will show up in the production model between the taillights in the boot lid, as before."

This contridicts Scotts26/27's Info about this issue, can you explain?

My guess is trunk lid...at least for US as bumper may not be good fit for US plates.

I believe it will be placed on same place as 6-series and 1-series

This is nothing new...This is just the regurgitated info from this board. Most of those things can be found in our own M3 threads. The only thing this brings new is that the concept will have the LP in the bumper while the production will have it on the boot...in otherwords they don't know ***** they're talking about. We'll just have to wait and see. I think I trust Scott more than GCF.
