I think that is because everyone is so used to seeing the SLR in either Silver or Black to the point that other colors just don't look "right" or as stunning. I think it is time we found a SLR in Mars Red or Everest Green (these are U.S. market names for bright right and a kind of Forest/Emerald Green). Blue isn't really a sports car color anyway, blue works better on CL's and C/E/S cars.
