| Re: Subaru at 39th Tokyo Motor Show - WCF Yeah, the Outback version is a lot better. I actually missed the old Outback with the grey plastic - which 'toughened' the car. This newest Liberty with its mostly painted body (in Australia at least - I've peeked at the Subaru America site and they get more grey plastic) looks a little odd. On this Edge version, the front bash plate looking object gives it a bit of width and purpose. Iffy about the 'alloy' mirrors, though; and yeah, the chrome wheels aren't that good.
Saw a Volvo XC90 with chrome spinners today. Ugh.
As for that Legacy Blitzen, I like it except for the grille. I like the optional Subaru 'sports' grille for the Legacy - I believe it's egg crate mesh without the horizontal bars.
That B5 has me worried, though. I'm not that confident anymore, after the Tribeca's release.. |
