The case is that their environment is endangered so to speak, getting warmer and melting. Their food supply is also diminishing and as a consequence , their population will suffer.

To add more trouble to the equation, the polars are going out of their normal habitat and clash with the encroaching humans.

They are wonderful and powerful animals, it would be a pity if the become extinct.
