I think what this shows is that Microsoft can't just do whatever they want and expect all the business customers to submit themselves to their offerings because there isn't much of a choice.

Monopoly position that Microsoft has kills innovation. If Firefox never came we would probably still be using IE6. It always takes a challenging product until Microsoft reacts (FF, OpenOffice, Gmail, Google Documents).
