You're really asking too much, Tycoon. Favoritism is a fact of life in any environment. It's not limited to F1. You can be a scientist in Antarctica studying penguins and you'll still have your favorite penguin. You could be an aid worker in Africa and you'll still have a favorite needy child.

Well said. Even Dr. Evil can't change human nature. So there will always be favoritism in everything in the world, let alone something as elite as F1.
