After a day of driving with it I find its not slippery. Phaeton steering is light and also, my hands seem to "glue" themselves to the rim - just enough natural moisture on them to get a firm grip but not so much as to slide. It has a lux feel to it. Happy so far.

I expect it will be easier to keep clean than leather. It tends to get hot in the sun.
