As an American I have no problem admitting that we're a nation of fat slobs who are at the same time obsessed with dieting and weight loss.

It's crazy. When I left Germany I was a size 32 and weighed 175lbs. Now that I've been living in LA for a year and a half I've bloated up to a husky size 34 and weigh 200lbs. Make no mistake, this county consipres to transform you into a fat-ass.
