Yes they do have terrible resale values- My friend Brad sold his for about $140K, and the same car was recently sold again for $115K. Make sure you get a good test drive before you buy. The car was not to my taste- it had so much torque the traction control would always step in. The SL55 was actually more fun to drive around town. On a related note there was recently a CL65 for sale in my town with 24,000 miles asking $99K.
