I honestly don't have with crazy shapes and the likes but this hotel just seems to be a very bad blend of contemporary and tradition put together. The exterior is really old school with the split stairs and the rather sublime colour and then once you enter the hotel its all bright and in your face. I wouldn't have minded it if they had stuck to the same theme for the exterior as well.
Also, I didn't like the furniture much as well even though I love contemporary and artsy stuff. They just seem to have picked what everyone knows and consider to be contemporary and then seem to have chosen the brightest and most different colours of the bunch. That does not a contemporary interior maketh.
