The chair below reminds me of Mendini's 'Proust' chair (Image) but the Proust chair was designed in 1978 and is now one of the icons of twentieth century avant-garde design -- this, on the other hand, is simply a decorative object for the fashionable consumer market.


This is a wonderful company, one of the greatest names of Venetian glass making. Their magnificent and very expensive traditional chandeliers have recently gained renewed popularity in fashionable interior design.
