Hello James,
The company closed down, like most of the famous coachbuilders, some time after WW2 due to monocoque car construction making independent coachbuilding no longer viable.

I don't know who is responsible for the revival of Castagna in the mid 1990s, but they seem to survive by making one-off versions of production cars like the Mini.

What do you think of this Bentley GT shooting Brake CGI? (it is on their website)
