Re: Devonian Gardens, Calgary - 56k Warning

Very nice Bruce. You are getting better and better at taking pictures. I think you are running into a situation that I ran into when I started with photography. You take to many darn pictures and post them. No offense, but I am sure you feel like you want to capture everything because you are afraid of not capturing enough? If this is the case don't worry, I think we all go through this. Just out of curiosity, are you using the digital zoom in your camera? If so don't. That is one of the worst thing one can do. Using the digital zoom actually makes the picture worse because it is not optically zooming but rather, zooming into the pixels.

You are producing very nice photographs. Try to capture what your eye is seeing. Think to why you want to take the picture and angle it and position yourself in the same manner that your eye would find it interesting.

A couple of them came out blurry and that is because you did not have a fast enough shutter speed. I am not sure if that is the effect you were going for though.
What camera are you using?
