"Vignetting", indeed, that's the correct photographic term
I didn't know this effect was used on the photos you posted above... very nice result I'm gonna try it later on (I'm at work now ), but I you have time, could you briefly explain how to create and/or apply these layer masks? Thanks for your professional advice
