Re: Model Collections

Thanks mate. Overall i will give it a 8.5/10. Autoart has done a fantastic job on the exterior and the interior of this model. The paintwork is super smooth with no orange peeling effect at all. The colour matching between the metal and plastic parts are generally good, but the color of the side mirrors are a shade darker than the rest of the model. All the body panels are tightly fitted together and the panel gaps are narrow and very even. Autoart really knows how to make good wheels and brakes. The ones on the GT are probably as real as a model can get.

But there are some minor details that aren't as impressive as the rest of the model. The detailing on the main headlights can be improved. The lever for the front hood is simply painted on instead of an individual piece by itself.
I absolutely agree with what you said about the engine bay. It could be better. The gearbox casing seems to be too simple and i am a bit annoyed that the exhaust muffler is left unpainted, and how the engine cover wont' stay up.

I have a few models on my "next to buy" list. I would like to get a Audi R8 model (really hope Autoart is making it), if not, a BBR Ferrari Enzo, CMC Mercedes McLaren (i saw your red one, awsome model, but probably out of my bugdet, how much is it anyway), a Koysho AC cobra 427 (blue with white strips), or a M6 models (love that carbon fibre effect roof on the model, does it look real in real life?), and a 997 turbo when it is released.
