I agree with you 100%. This is realy photograph. Being able to capture the emotion and the hard work. A while ago I visted the National Geographic website and started to read about the photographers. One of them gave a tip and it went something like this
by the way, there was a picture being shown of a person climbing a rock)
You have to take the picture not of the person climibing, but of the person performing the action of climbing. That is why when you go to take a shot, you simply go for the right moment. The right moment being that minute that he/she is extending his arm to grab the next rock with such strength that only pausing that moment with a photograph shows the true energy and passion behind the act.
