The original Esprit was an utterly gorgeous car that looked fabulous for so many years. A new Lotus Esprit has big shoes to fill. And I hope that it doesn't end up resembling a Noble - something that that frontal shot suggests to a certain extent.
Lotus has disappointed fans in the past with good looking sportsters that end up stillborn. The M250 is a case in point. Let's hope that there's meaningful impetus at Lotus to make the new Esprit a complete and classy package. |
