This is great news for all the GL owners on MBWorld that have been complaining about the GL320 CDI not having enough power. We all know that the "Vision" tag means this will be coming to market very soon. Dare I say that for the 2008 model year in the U.S. and then sometime during 2008 it will go on sale in those 5 states that MB can't current sell diesels in. Mercedes-Benz USA must really be getting some good feedback on diesel to introduce and prepare the V8 for U.S. duty. Mighty encouraging. I like the new grille it was likely done in response to some saying the GL lacks the "bling" factor of the U.S. made SUVs. If true that is somewhat of a letdown IMO for a Mercedes to react this way, but I do like the bigger grille. It probably should have worn this grille from the start if it was truly going to replace the "G". This could also open the door for ML420 and S420 Bluetec models. The R won't get it, nothing can make that thing sell any better.
