What are you talking about ?!
VW never invented or co-developed dual-clutches. That credit goes to frenchman Andre Kegresse, who invented the dual clutch 70 years ago for Citroen (who were the first to put them on their cars about 60 years ago, on a few demonstrative models since the solution viable untill recently).
