I think Tiguan would have more offroad ability even if CT had AWD.

They could market their Cross versions with AWD as an option I think that would work without taking too much sales from Tiguan.

Cross version would sell well in snowy regions & if VW got too worried about Tiguan sales they could easily limit Cross numbers IMO.
