Yes, very interesting. I don't know how it is in other car companies, but compared to the management culture in my company -a leading software company, that I won't name - BMW seems to be leagues ahead. One thing that I have come to respect about the Bangle era, though I am critical of someof the design elements, is how they mould the the consumer's taste than just follow it. That takes big balls in today's risk averse corporate environments and I don't see many other car manufaturers doing it. And it looks like it is paying off for BMW.
