My dad tried to make her buy a Volvo C30 (no comment) and she ended up with a Renault Megane CC. And with that ridiculus 1.6l engine... Girls...

Christian, 1er is impressive! Pray that your sister will go for it

PS. Her Megane Sucks Big Time, and i tell it to her every morning, until she dumps it in the see and buy the goddamn 1er
Don't worry, we didn't consider any French, Italian, Japanese or Korean cars since my dad wanted something German from the beginning (the MINI being the exception but it's made by BMW so technically it's a German car).

We've already decided for the 1-Series. The only question is when will we order it. This coming week? The week after? That's the question my friend!

The dark side would have been Lexus.

A BMW is completely fine with me, plus I always thought the 1-Series was kind of cool. Now, after having spent a lot of time checking it out, I find it even cooler than the BMW 3-Series sedan!

Hi,

Yep, we were told that the M Package would include those rims, but for some reason my dad had them included in one of the packages. I need to ask what's going on, but I think the salesman gave us a good deal. He was a really nice guy who's been with BMW since 1992 and he asked us what car we currently drive. When my dad said 2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the guy immediately offered us a 15% discount because of their Fremdfabrikat policy. Of course my dad also told this guy our problem. We wanted a used 1-Series with these options etc. but found many of them to be too expensive, despite having nearly 15-30,000 km average. That's when the salesman offered us this good deal with 15% discount.

Perhaps I am getting things messed up and my dad just ticked those rims from the brochure, you can do that after all.

Congrats on having a BMW in the family. The white + sports package looks really good. I'm guessing you're taking a black interior? And cloth?
Thanks. We don't have a BMW in the family yet, but it looks like we'll have this baby in the family soon!

Black interior with an aluminum accent on the dashboard and black cloth seats. Leather is overkill, he felt (me too).

Good to see your sister saw the light!

BTW, I agree that 1er in white with the M pack looks very hot, havent' seen one in white before. Personally I'd definately get the M pack but I suppose it's up to your sis and what she wants. Here in the UK though, getting the M pack is quite an expensive option.

Looking forward to the review, when you say, 'I never knew a car could be so good'!

LOL @ Adoption.

I will probably be using the 300SE once I find a good job. I'm currently working for my town as a translator. It's boring and tough.

Well I really want an A-Class. They're a lot of fun. I'm thinking an A180 CDI 6-speed.
