It's like the lights are square and the boot lid covers a part of them. It's the first BMW model i don't like the last 5 years. A big let down as far as i am conserned, which ruins the whole design. |

On the 3 series sedan it's short of disastrous even though its more tolerable on the 3 series coupe. with respect to the 1 series hatch it may be considered bland and unoriginal, but it was a safe, simple and unoffensive design. As for the coupe, it's equivalent to stabbing ones self in the back or in this case the rear end if you now what I mean. And in comparison the rear of the 1er hatch seems much nicer now I don't know whether BMW designers are running out of ideas or intensionally held back on the rear end design to prevent the 1 series from cannibalizing sales from the 3 coupe. I hope that clearer pics and different angles will change my mind because I had great expectations for the 1 coupe. |
