The BMW 1er Coupe will have it's press release in Late May, early June 2007.
The BMW 1er Coupe will have it's world premiere alongside the new BMW M3 and other premieres at the BMW Group outdoor complex at this September's IAA in Frankfurt - Germany's top motoring event.

"Privilege with Passion"
European sales will commence in September 2007.
Australian/Asian markets commence in November 2007.
North American/Canadian markets penciled in to commence in Spring 2008. - This will coincide with the launch of the Cabrio.
programme to make car US ready will commence from launch.

" Performance for Pleasure"
Introduction of 135i and 120Si (Using engine from BMW 320Si) . Chassis , suspension and dynamics all developed and made for a sporting drive .

"Express your joy"
Four metallic colors unique to the 1er Coupe and Cabrio.
Including - Ink Black , Deep Sea Blue and Comoros Red.

"Adhere to your principles"
"Born into Admiration and iconic status - relive your dreams..".

Regarding M1 - Look at BMW 3er Coupe E92 from press release May 06 - BMW M3 Concept Car March 07. Keep your diaries for 1st week March 2008.

I hope bmw does it right with the m1. And that means keep the weight down. Go for max driving fun not an autobahn cruiser.

My only problem is that it's not been called the 2 series. That's how they should have called the 3/5 hatches too. This new M1 along with the 328 is another balashpemisation of BMW hallmarks.

Still, great non the less.

Posible lines:

Both cars- The 2002 and the 1er Coupe with the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG HQ in the back ground illuminated @ night. Both cars with lights on , the
1er Coupe with it's "Angel Eyes" illuminated.
