Wow, don't you just love it when cars are caught out during the taping of a commercial! I need to see the front to tell whether or not they've changed those ugly lights.

Whoa, look what the guy had to go through to get these pics, from LLN:

But unfortunately the camera crew involved with this BMW brochure shoot is giving professional photographers everywhere a bad rap: The amateur who shot these, armed with only a small point-and-shoot, was forced to lock himself in his automobile as one of the production crew members started to — as he described it — violently pound on the man's car — both on the sheetmetal and glass!

What a car. Fantastic.

I love the 1 serie already because of the sporty driving. Agile handling. The coupe is just awesome. Give me a 350hp M1 and it s sold.

According to my sources the rear lights will be strictly L-shaped - very similar to facelifted E46 rear lights - yet with white strip at the bottom not in the middle.

Hussein did a CGI of 1er coupe a while ago using L-shaped rear lights.

That is exactly what I am afraid of... I don't know if L-shaped lights suit the car? You can see the shape through the tape...

I'm imagining inverted E92 taillights. I think it's going to look pretty good. That definitely is definitely hot!

If they do come up with that 350hp version, I think BMW would have a real winner, even if it will be expensive. Not many cars will be able to match it for that price.
